The Aerospace Digital Visualisation Suite offers SMEs access to innovative Extended Reality (XR) technology, helping them enter or expand their presence in the aerospace sector.
Using cutting edge XR – which incorporates Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) – and digital visualisation, this project helps companies to innovate, develop skills and improve productivity. The services are available to eligible SMEs at no charge.
Advancing Manufacturing AeroSpace encompasses two separate projects - Aerospace Digital Visualisation Suite and Supply Chain Aerospace - which are designed to play a key role in strengthening Scotland’s manufacturing industry, while creating transformational change in the aerospace and space sectors.
Brian Ronald is the project lead for the Aerospace Digital Visualisation Suite. As the technologist, Brian’s role involves programme management and delivery of the project.
With a wealth of experience in the aerospace industry and visualisation technologies, Brian’s experience gives him a sound base to understand companies’ requirements and deliver tailored solutions. He has a passion for exploring new technologies and an ability to see how these can be applied to industry.
