The Advancing Innovative Manufacturing in the South of Scotland (AIMS) Project has been set up to support small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in the Scottish Borders and Dumfries and Galloway regions.
AIMS has 3 sites across the region providing equipment to demonstrate the latest technologies and the capability to support SMEs in the development and proving of new products and processes. The Team aims to provide an integrated approach to supporting our local SMEs.
Key Information
The lead partner for the AIMS project is Dumfries and Galloway Council, as well as being supported by Scottish Borders Council, Dumfries and Galloway College, Borders College and South of Scotland Enterprise.
The small, dedicated team of business and technical advisers at AIMS have a wealth of Engineering, Manufacturing and Business experience and provide businesses with co-ordinated and integrated solutions.
